Thank you for visiting! I am a Self-taught Visual & Spoken Word Artist, and Author of the novel Journey of a Sister, which features 14 of my poems, and 8 of my paintings!

‘A self-help book told in a NOVEL way!‘

Journey of a Sister is a beautiful Black Love story about a young woman of Jamaican parentage born in the UK, and raised in ‘the Faith’.

However, Suzanne has reached a point where she’s QUESTioning what she was taught to believe, after developing her own personal relationship with her Creator.

She writes God a fearless letter asking all the QUESTions her church couldn’t answer, which she ends by asking for “the Truth!” 

Your QUEST for “the Truth!” begins when you ask the right QUESTions!

This marks a turning-point in her life; she meets Charles, who informs her that she’s a displaced African, and offers to help her find her way back home.

Join Suzanne on her 13 year transformational quest to find her Self, to re-member who she is as a Black Woman, to re-connect with her ancestral roots, and to discover the true meaning of the word ‘LOVE’. 

The story covers her path from religion to spirituality, her hair journey, realizing the creative power of her thoughts, and the transformation of her relationship with Charles, including their sex life!

46,000 words were channelled, meaning they came through me rather than from me – it’s packed with ancient wisdom!

First Edition 

The book has gone through its own transformation; the First Edition was published in 2012 under the title ‘Single, Spiritual…AND Sexual!’  which ended at Year Eleven:

Second Edition 

After visiting my Motherland (Ghana) for the first time in 2014, I revised the book, added two new chapters (inspired by my 5 month stay), and re-titled it ‘Journey of a Sister’.

Third Edition 

In 2019 I turned the story into a film script, with the help of Errol Mcglashan who helped me edit the First Edition; during the process I wrote some new, exciting scenes, e.g. Suzanne’s First Performance in Year One:

I decided to revise the book one last time to match the film script, before recording it as an audiobook! The above extract is from Year One (Part 2) of the audiobooks, and wasn’t in any of the two previous editions!

Nature’s Art 

I painted my first collection between 2009-2010. During the process I intuitively healed myself of Seasonal Affective Disorder (a form of depression caused by lack of natural sunlight), with the Colour Therapy in them. I used eight of my paintings to illustrate Journey of a Sister, so you can benefit from the Colour Therapy in them while you read!

In March of 2022 I wrote, illustrated and narrated two short stories for children and adults alike! The illustration for my short story “Pick Me!” also incorporates Colour Therapy, you can listen to it below (7 mins):
